WVU's Rasul Douglas among prospects visiting Steelers Wednesday

The Steelers continue their visits with college prospects ahead of the NFL draft Wednesday with four more players present at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, including a couple of cornerbacks projected to be drafted in the middle rounds.

Cornerbacks Jalen Myrick of Minnesota and Rasul Douglas of West Virginia, as well as tight end Jason Croom Tennessee and outside linebacker Keion Adams of Western Michigan, are visiting with Steelers coaches and scouts.

Myrick (5-foot-10, 200 pounds) is ranked the No. 14 cornerback prospect according to nfldraftscout.com and is projected to get drafted in second or third round.

Myrick had five career interceptions at Minnesota and returned two for touchdowns. He was twice named Big Ten honorable mention. This profile on nfldraftscout.com compares him to former Steelers draft pick Doran Grant.

Douglas is the No. 17 corner prospect according to nfldraftscout and projected to go in the third or fourth round.

Douglas, who came to West Virginia via junior college, started just one season for the Mountaineers, but he made a big impact in those 12 games he started. Douglas led the Football Bowl Subdivision with eight interceptions and earned first-team all-Big 12 honors.

Adams (6-2, 245) is the sixth outside linebacker to take a predraft visit to the Steelers. He had 14½ sacks during his college career at Western Michigan, including 7½ as a senior last season. In this draft profile on nfl.com his comparison in the NFL is Arthur Moats. He is projected as a late-round pick.

Croom (6-5, 246) is a converted receiver with limited production at Tennessee. He had 21 catches for 242 yards last season at tight end. He had 39 catches as a receiver in 2013 and 2014. He is considered a late-round prospect.
