Now in its 56th year, this is a juried cut flower show sponsored by the local chapter of the American Iris Society (AIS) that offers the opportunity to iris gardeners in the western Pennsylvania area to showcase their best Irises.
The show is not only a way to recognize the efforts of local gardeners but also a way to get information, talk with Master Gardeners, buy new or recently introduced plants, meet other gardeners and even join the organization. Members of the society as well as the judges and the exhibitors will be on hand to answer questions and share their experiences with irises culture and gardening in general.
The show is free and open to the public and in addition to the cut flower exhibit there will be plants for sale. For more information, call Linda Herhold at (724) 941-8101.
