Ex-Pitt standout Brianna Kiesel gets started in WNBA

Former Pitt women's basketball player Brianna Kiesel made the Tulsa Shock's 12-player final roster Thursday.

The Shock took Kiesel with the 13th overall pick of the WNBA draft in April, making her the second Pitt player drafted to the league. Kiesel finished her four-year career at Pitt this past season, finishing as the Panthers' all-time leader in minutes played, as well as fifth in points (1,938) and assists (433).
