The Pirates have traded outfielder Nyjer Morgan and reliever Sean Burnett to the Washington Nationals in exchange for outfielder Lastings Milledge and reliever Joel Hanrahan.

Separately, the Pirates late this morning traded outfielder Eric Hinske to the New York Yankees for catcher/outfielder Eric Fryer and pitcher Casey Erickson.

Outfielder Garrett Jones will be recalled from Class AAA Indianapolis to take Hinske's spot on the roster.
