A train derailed in Clairton on Wednesday, lifting three empty cars from the tracks.
According to Allegheny County officials, There were no reported injuries.
State Route 837 was shut down in both directors from Maple Avenue to Walnut Avenue — an area alongside U.S. Steel’s Clairton Coke Works — officials said.

It is the second derailment in December in Allegheny County. On Dec. 12, a Norfolk Southern train derailed because of a rock slide along Route 837 above the Monongahela River in Baldwin Borough.
In that incident, no one was injured after two locomotives and five cars went off the tracks.
