Bicyclist killed in Fayette County

A Uniontown man was killed this morning when his bicycle was struck by a vehicle in North Union, Fayette County.

The Fayette County coroner’s office identified the victim as Gary Lewellen, 47. He was pronounced dead at 10:56 a.m. at Uniontown Hospital.

State police at the Uniontown barracks are investigating the incident but haven’t filed a report yet.
