Access to Corliss Tunnel from West Carson Street blocked

PennDOT planned to close access to the Corliss Tunnel from inbound West Carson Street this morning.

Electrical work associated with the $39 million road construction project will force inbound West Carson traffic to continue straight ahead at the tunnel and use Steuben Street and Chartiers Avenue to reach Corliss Street. The restriction will be in place through April 7.

Inbound traffic through the Corliss Tunnel will be able to make the right turn onto West Carson.
