Placement of bike-only lanes changes on Penn Avenue

Placement of bike-only lanes changes on Penn Avenue

The city announced that it has changed its plan for installation of bike-only lanes on Penn Avenue because of planned utility work.

Instead of extending from Stanwix to 11th streets on eastbound Penn Avenue, the protected lanes will be placed between Sixth and 16th streets, transportation planner Patrick Roberts said.

Installation of the lanes is scheduled for next week.
