Vigils were held in cities across the country Sunday to honor the victims of a mass shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Squirrel Hill, just a day after a gunman took the lives of 11 people and sent shock waves through the city of Pittsburgh.
Six others were wounded, including four police officers.
Those waves were felt throughout the nation as people gathered in over two dozen cities to honor those who lost their lives Saturday. Most of the vigils were organized by Jewish communities.
Ceremonies were held in numerous locations across the country, including Boston, Denver, Houston, Madison, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Ann Arbor, Mich., Buffalo, Austin, Columbus, Rochester, Washington D.C., Middletown, Conn., Philadelphia, New Orleans, New Haven and Woodbridge in New Jersey, Atlanta, Charleston, Memphis, Chicago, Portland, New York City and Los Angeles.
Today, vigils were held in cities across the country to pay respect to the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting. I'm threading them here, and encourage you to post the ones I'm missing.
