Man killed in Penn Hills fire

The Office of the Allegheny County Medical Examiner said in a report on Friday that a Penn Hills man died in a house fire on Thursday evening.

The report said that Herman Hill, 74, was killed by the fire in his home on the 600 block of Southern Ave. at around 5:10 p.m.

Mr. Hill was pronounced dead on the scene.

The Penn Hills Police Department is investigating.
