A woman died in a house fire in Cecil, according to the Washington County coroner’s office. 

First responders arrived at the home on Swihart Road about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday after a motorist drove past the fire and called 911, authorities said. 

Rose Churray, 81, died in the home, the coroner’s office said. 

Cecil police and the Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal are investigating.
