Body found in Chartiers Creek

Washington County authorities have identified a man whose body was found Monday evening in a creek in Washington County.

Coroner Tim Warco said the man has been identified as Albert Morrell, 65, of Cortez Drive in Washington, Pa.

His body was found by two fishermen in Chartiers Creek near the 800 block of Henderson Avenue in Washington about 6:45 p.m.

State police are investigating.
