Firefighters called to a blaze at a home in Washington County found a man’s body inside.

Officer Eric Holt, of the South Strabane Township Police Department, says the man’s neighbor called to report the fire at around 10:30 p.m. Saturday. He says the 61-year-old man lived alone in the home, and authorities aren’t releasing his name until family members are notified.

Officer Holt says the cause of the blaze is unknown but it isn’t believed to be suspicious.

The Washington County coroner said that an autopsy is pending.
