Forward home destroyed in morning fire

No one was injured when a house was destroyed by a fire Sunday morning in Forward.

According to KDKA-TV, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's news partner, the blaze started around 5:15 a.m. in the 600 block of Munger Lane.

One person was inside the home but made it out safely, KDKA reported.

The Allegheny County Fire Marshal’s Office is handling the investigation.
