Two motorists suffered minor injuries this morning when a vehicle collided with a T light-transit rail vehicle in Mt. Lebanon, officials said.
The crash occurred about 9:45 a.m. at the Mt. Lebanon station along Alfred Street, Port Authority spokesman Adam Brandolph said.
Mr. Brandolph said that the driver of the vehicle was from out of town and crossed into the path of the T car. He said that the left front of the T car hit the right front of the vehicle.
The injured motorists, both of whom were in the vehicle, suffered minor neck and back pain and were taken to St. Clair Hospital in Mt. Lebanon, Mr. Brandolph said.
No one on the T car was injured.
The collision caused about a 20-minute delay in service. Mr. Brandolph said that T cars are using alternate track to get around the crash and into the Pittsburgh.
