2 firefighters injured while fighting flames at Sharpsburg home

Two firefighters were injured early Monday morning while fighting a house fire in Sharpsburg.

Post-Gazette news partner KDKA-TV reported that crews were called to the blaze on Main Street early Monday.

One of the injured firefighters was taken to the hospital, KDKA reported, and the other was treated at the scene.

It’s unclear how they were injured or what their conditions are.

There was no information yet on any injuries or displacements of possible residents of the house. 

Main Street was closed while firefighters put out the flames; it has since reopened.
