Former Allegheny College professor to plead guilty to child pornography charges

A former literature professor at Allegheny College is scheduled to plead guilty to child pornography charges next month.

Kirk Nesset, 57, was indicted in October on three counts of receipt, possession and distribution of child porn.

He indicated in a court filing Thursday that he’ll enter a plea April 6.

Mr. Nesset was arrested Oct. 1. He has resigned from the college.
