Man, 45, suffers serious facial injuries in Fawn explosion

A 45-year-old man suffered severe facial injuries Tuesday when a 55-gallon drum exploded outside a trucking company building in Fawn.

The incident happened at Graff Trucking on Route 908 around 4:30 p.m. The man was airlifted to a Pittsburgh hospital. His condition has not been released.

Fawn police Chief Timothy Mayberry said the explosion occurred behind the building. He said he did not know what was inside the drum or what caused the blast.
