Driver, 33, killed in head-on crash in Somerset County

A Somerset County man was killed Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash, according to state police.

Kenneth Rose, 33, of Somerset was driving on Water Level Road in Milford around 5:20 p.m. when, police said, he crossed the center line and hit an oncoming vehicle head-on.

Somerset County coroner Wallace Miller pronounced Mr. Rose dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, Ronald Mort, 38, of Stoystown suffered serious injuries and was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, according to state police.
