No injuries in early morning Garfield house fire

Firefighters battled a two-alarm house fire in Garfield early Saturday, Allegheny County dispatchers report.

Authorities responded to the fire in the 5000 block of Jordan Way around 5:20 a.m. Saturday.

The fire is believed to have started in a vacant house and spread to the house next door, according to our media partner KDKA-TV.

No one was injured and firefighters haven’t yet determined the fire’s cause.
