Woman shot in arm in Lincoln-Lemington

A 38-year-old woman was shot this afternoon in Lincoln-Lemington, Pittsburgh public safety officials said.

Pittsburgh police were alerted to shots fired in the 1300 block of Paulson Street shortly after 5 p.m., city public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said.

While canvassing the area, Ms. Toler said, police found out that a woman had run into a residence in the 7100 block of Churchland Street.

The woman had been shot in the arm, and another bullet grazed her ear, according to Ms. Toler.
