Stowe shooting victim, 18, dies

The young man shot Friday evening in Stowe, near the Sto-Rox High School, has died, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. He’s been identified as Jabree Hines, 18, from the nearby area. The shooting, which also involved a 7-year-old girl, occurred in the 700 block of Russellwood Street shortly before 6 p.m. Mr. Hines died Saturday at 1:27 a.m. A report on the cause and manner of death is pending.

County police ask anyone with information about the shooting to call 412-473-1300.
