Houston Harbaugh announced the election of its three-member executive committee and officers. On the committee are: John M. Hartzell Jr., Samuel H. Simon and Alex W. Thomson. Officers of the firm will include Mr. Thomson as president; Mr. Hartzell as treasurer; and Heidi Rai Stewart as an officer, serving in leadership as the firm’s secretary.

Meyer, Unkovic & Scott named the following lawyers partners: Levi K. Logan, member of its employee benefits, corporate and business law and private clients groups; Michael G. Monyok, member of its intellectual property, corporate and business law, and new ventures and entrepreneurs groups; and Tony J. Marketing

Pipitone Group hired Ian Syphard as a senior interactive project manager and Natalie Corkos as a digital marketing specialist.

Nonprofit

Frick Pittsburgh elected Mary Louise Babst to its board of trustees. Ms. Babst was elected to serve as a term trustee.

The McGuire Memorial Foundation hired Dawn McHugh-Woodfill as its director of advancement.

Real Estate

Everest Holding Co., the new parent company of Northwood Realty Services, named Wendy West chairwoman of its board. In addition, Marvin Levin joined Northwood Realty as an associate broker and vice president of its new commercial division.

Sales

Airmall USA appointed Ben Zandi as president and chief executive officer, overseeing the North American operations of parent company Fraport, effective immediately.

Awards and Honors

Clyde Wilson Pickett, special assistant to the president for diversity and inclusion at the Community College of Allegheny County, received a 2017 Giving Back Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine. The award honors college and university administrators who go above and beyond their everyday leadership duties and “give back” to their campuses and communities. 

Business notes

Oxford Development Co. and its partners said the 300-unit The Yards at 3 Crossings apartment complex in the Strip District has received LEED Gold certification. The LEED rating system, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, rates buildings, homes and communities that are designed, constructed, maintained and operated for improved environmental and human health performance.
