Trust Cabaret gets Tony-nominee Brandon Uranowitz to step in for 'Aladdin's' Genie

Brandon Uranowitz, a Tony nominee for "An American in Paris," will replace James Monroe Iglehart as part of the Trust Cabaret Series on Feb. 13.

Mr. Iglehart, a Tony winner as the Genie in Broadway's "Aladdin," is unable to perform due to a scheduling conflict. Mr. Uranowitz is currently part of a limited-run Broadway revival of "Falsettos," starring Christian Borle and Andrew Rannells. "Falsettos" is due to close Jan. 8.

Mr. Uranowitz originated the role of Adam Hochberg in "An American in Paris" and has toured with "Rent." Showtime for his concert at the Cabaret at Theater Square, Downtown, is 7:30 p.m.
