The musical began its tour on the West Coast with Darren Criss of “Glee” and Tony-winner Lena Hall in the leads. The cast for the Pittsburgh stop has not been announced, but Point Park alumnus Mason Alexander Park has been the stand-in for the lead role in San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Tickets for the presentation of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh Symphony and Broadway Across America are $26-$71, on sale Dec. 5 at www.trustarts.org or 412-456-4800.

The revival of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's story of "internationally ignored song stylist” Hedwig Robinson, whose botched operation left her with that “angry inch,” was directed by Michael Mayer ("Spring Awakening") and earned a lead actor Tony for Neil Patrick Harris. The band will music director Justin Craig (guitar and keyboards), Matt Duncan (bass), Tim Mislock (guitar) and Peter Yanowitz (drums), all of whom originated their roles on Broadway.
