Iggy Azalea to headline Pittsburgh Pride in the Street

Australian rapper Iggy Azalea will headline Pittsburgh Pride in the Street on Saturday, June 13, on Liberty Avenue, Downtown.

The event is presented by lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender organization The Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh.

Tickets start at $45 (including taxes and fees) and go on sale Monday at 10 a.m. at pittsburghpride.org or call 888-71-TICKETS.

“We are thrilled to bring Iggy Azalea to Pittsburgh for the first time, and also happy that this will be her first gay pride performance ever,” said Gary Van Horn, president of the Delta Foundation of Pittsburgh said in a statement. “Pittsburgh Pride has become a signature event not only for our City, but nationally and internationally as well. We have folks who come to Pittsburgh Pride from all over the world, and we know that Pittsburgh has gained a great reputation as being a city that is truly welcoming to the LGBT community.”

Pride in the Street will take place from 6 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Grammy-nominated Azalea will perform a one-hour show on the outdoor stage, along with other entertainers to be announced. Previous headliners include Melissa Etheridge, Adam Lambert, Chaka Khan and Patti LaBelle.
