“Crazy Rich Asians” author Kevin Kwan will be a featured speaker during the fourth annual Pittsburgh Humanities Festival in March.
Mr. Kwan, whose book was the basis for the hit film “Crazy Rich Asians,” will speak at the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St., Downtown, at 8 p.m. on March 22. He’ll discuss wealth disparity, the cultural impact of his novels, the changing makeup of the entertainment industry and the multiple facets of Asians around the world. The Pittsburgh Humanities Festival is produced by the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust and the Humanities Center of Carnegie Mellon University.
