Steelers will face Baltimore Ravens in wild card round of NFL playoffs

The Steelers will open the 2025 NFL playoffs as the No. 6 seed against the Ravens at 8 p.m. Saturday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore on WPXI and Prime.

It will be the third meeting with the Ravens this season and will be the ultimate tiebreaker. The Steelers won the first matchup 18-16 on Nov. 17 and then dropped the rematch 34-17 on Dec. 21.

But it’s a new season in the playoffs, and no one is happier about that than the Steelers. They’ve lost four in a row after a 10-3 start to the season, the latest defeat coming Saturday night to the Bengals.

“We are in a single-elimination tournament now, so we better turn our attention toward playing good football and better than we have particularly in recent weeks,” head coach Mike Tomlin said after the 19-17 loss.

Now, after ending the regular season with four consecutive losses for the first time in 25 years, the Steelers will face the Ravens at Baltimore in a wild-card playoff game.

The Steelers haven’t won a playoff game in seven years, losing five postseason contests in a row. Last year, they were rolled 31-17 by the Bills after a blizzard postponed the game.
