In a sea of black and gold, with the twirling of Terrible Towels and Steely McBeam playing the hype man, Pittsburgh rallied for the Steelers in Downtown on Friday afternoon.
Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey helped rally the crowd at the City-County Building ahead of the Steelers’ AFC wild card game against the Buffalo Bills at 1 p.m. Sunday in Orchard Park, N.Y.
Brutal winter weather conditions are expected, with possible more than a foot of snow and strong wind gusts.
The Steelers will be looking for their first postseason win since 2016 behind quarterback Mason Rudolph, whose late-season magic helped the team sneak into the playoffs with three straight victories.
