Terrell Edmunds will not play for Steelers against Bills

Steelers strong safety Terrell Edmunds will not play against the Bills after he was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday afternoon.

Edmunds suffered a concussion in the second quarter of last week’s game against the Jets. He practiced on a limited basis the past two days.

It’s only the second game Edmunds will miss since he joined the Steelers in 2018. Second-year defensive back Tre Norwood is expected to take his place in the starting lineup.

Edmunds is one of two starters in the Steelers secondary ruled out against the Bills, who are third in the NFL in yards and fifth in points scored. Starting cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon will miss a second consecutive game with a hamstring injury.
