One day after listing him as questionable to face the Chiefs on Sunday night in the wild-card round, the Steelers are clearing up the status of Najee Harris: He’s playing.
Harris was removed from the injury report Saturday afternoon and will play through the elbow issue that limited him last week in Baltimore. An awkward hit on the third play knocked out Harris until the third quarter, and he had to play through it all the way into overtime.
But after not practicing Wednesday or Thursday, Harris was a full participant Friday as the Steelers prepare to face the league’s second-worst run defense by yards per carry. He got a platelet-rich plasma shot to help with treatment but said he can’t wear a brace because it will affect his ball security. Harris hasn’t fumbled all season despite leading the NFL in touches.
