Steelers' Cam Heyward to appear on Sunday's 'Celebrity Family Feud'

Before the Steelers’ preseason kicks off in August, you can catch some of the men in black and gold on a popular game show.

Four Steelers past and present are set to appear on ABC’s “Celebrity Family Feud,” with defensive end Cam Heyward making the first appearance by a current Steeler this year on Sunday at 8 p.m.

Heyward will be representing Team NFLPA All-Stars alongside New Orleans wide receiver Michael Thomas, New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore, Denver Broncos linebacker Bradley Chubb and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson.

He and his teammates will be going up against Team NFLPA Legends, which features Hall of Famers Aeneas Williams, Brian Urlacher, Tim Brown, Jackie Slater and Dermontti Dawson.

That last name may sound familiar to Steelers fans, mostly because Dawson is a seven-time Pro Bowl center who played his entire career in Pittsburgh from 1988-2000.

The NFLPA All-Stars will be playing on behalf of the Professional Athletes Foundation, which helps pro football players in their post-career transitions.

Dawson’s team will be benefiting the Team Gleason Foundation, which is dedicated to helping those suffering from ALS.

Later on this season of “Celebrity Family Feud,” former Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw, his wife and two daughters will take on a squad led by Olympic figure skater Adam Rippon.

Bradshaw’s group is representing the 525 Foundation, which provides outreach and educational resources regarding the risks of misusing prescription medications.

A few weeks later, Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster will lead a team that includes his mother, two aunts and an uncle against the family of professional gamer Tyler “Ninja” Bevins.

Smith-Schuster is playing for Meals on Wheels, an organization that delivers nutritional food to senior citizens.
