Klemm will assist new offensive line coach Shaun Sarrett, who took over last month for Mike Munchak. Klemm most recently was the associate head coach/run game coordinator at UCLA from 2012-16. He previously served as an assistant coach at SMU from 2008-11.
Klemm played at the University of Hawaii and was the No. 46 overall pick of the Patriots in 2000, the same year they drafted a quarterback by the name of Tom Brady in the sixth round.
Klemm played for the Patriots for five seasons from 2000-04 and earned three Super Bowl rings. He finished his NFL career with the Packers.
