Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster has been named the Polynesian pro football player of the year for a second consecutive season.
The award has been presented by the Polynesian Pro Football Hall of Fame since 2015. Cardinals offensive lineman Mike Iupati won the award in 2015, and Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota won it in 2016.
Smith-Schuster, whose mother is of Samoan descent, led the Steelers with 111 catches for 1,426 yards this season. He was named Steelers MVP in a vote by his teammates last week.

In his first two NFL seasons, Smith Schuster has compiled 169 catches for 2,343 yards and 14 touchdowns.
