The Steelers will play their first preseason game at the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles, the NFL announced today.
It will be one of two games on the road to start the preseason, with the next two at Heinz Field.
They will play their second game at Green Bay before playing Tennessee — and Titans new head coach Mike Vrabel, a onetime Steelers draft pick — at home followed by their traditional final exhibition game against Carolina, at home.
Precise dates and times for their first two games will be announced later, as will times for their two home games. All four games will be broadcast on KDKA-TV.
The opening weekend after the Aug. 2 Hall of Fame game is Aug. 9-13.
