Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier will miss his third consecutive game with a shoulder injury.
Shazier has been ruled out for Monday night’s game in San Diego after he did not practice today. Shazier practiced with the team earlier in the week and was hopeful he would get clearance from coach mike Tomlin to play.
Cornerback Cortez Allen (knee) is listed as questionable. Receiver Markus Wheaton (ankle), tight end Matt Spaeth (hand), safety Ross Ventrone (hamstring) and defensive tackle Daniel McCullers (knee) are probable.
The Steelers do not have to list receiver Martavis Bryant on the injury report this week because he has not yet been added to the 53-man roster. They have until 4 p.m. Tuesday to add Bryant to the roster if he does not play against the Chargers.
Bryant said he was dealing with soreness after getting injured in practice earlier this week.
