Penn State has moved up to No. 4 in the Associated Press college football poll.
The Nittany Lions, coming off a 56-0 victory at home against Georgia State Saturday night, hurdled Southern California, which needed double-overtime to defeat Texas and slipped to No 5.
The Trojans had moved ahead of Penn State, which still trails Alabama, Clemson and Oklahoma, a week earlier.
