Former Penn State tight end Carter signs with Minnesota Vikings

Another former Penn State football player has signed with an NFL team.

The Minnesota Vikings signed tight end Kyle Carter as an undrafted free agent, making him the seventh member of the 2015 squad to go professional this spring.

Cornerback Trevor Williams signed an undrafted free-agent contract with the San Diego Chargers; and defensive tackle Austin Johnson (Tennessee Titans), quarterback Christian Hackenberg (New York Jets), defensive end Carl Nassib (Cleveland Browns), defensive lineman Anthony Zettel (Detroit Lions) and defensive back Jordan Lucas (Miami Dolphins) all were picked in this year’s National Football League’s draft.
