Pirates announce promotional schedule, single-game ticket sale date

The Pirates on Thursday released their 2024 promotional schedule while also announcing single-game sales for regular season home games would start on Friday, Dec. 1.

Beginning at 10 a.m. that day, fans can purchase tickets online (Pirates.com/tickets) or by calling 1-800-BUY-BUCS or visiting the PNC Park ticket office. The 2024 home opener will be Friday, April 5 against the Orioles.

As for promotions, themed weekends will occur July 5-7 (Bucco Luau) and Yinzerpalooza (July 19-21).

There will be seven Zambelli fireworks nights and a drone show, as well: Friday, May 3 vs. Rockies; Friday, May 24 vs. Braves; Friday, June 7 vs. Twins; Friday, July 19 vs. Phillies; Saturday, Aug. 3 vs. Diamondbacks (drone show); Saturday, Aug. 24 vs. Reds; and Friday, Sept. 13, vs. Royals.

There will be four bobblehead nights, though the players/themes are not yet announced: Saturday, May 4 vs. Rockies; Saturday, May 25 vs. Braves; Saturday, June 22 vs. Rays; and Saturday, July 20 vs. Phillies.

Themed T-shirt nights include Saturday, May 11 vs. Cubs (custom-designated player T-shirt); Saturday, June 8 vs. Twins (80’s-themed T-shirt); Friday, June 21 vs. Rays (Bryan Reynolds City Connect); Saturday, Aug. 17 vs. Mariners (90’s-theme); and Saturday, Sept. 14 vs. Royals (Negro Leagues Legacy).

The pregame family fun zone and kids run the bases promotions will return on Sundays, and there are a number of kids giveaways as well: Saturday, May 5 vs. Rockies (Ke’Bryan Hayes Gold Glove action figure); Sunday, July 7 vs. Mets (kids beach towel); and Sunday, July 21 vs. Phillies (pierogi plush).

Prior to Dec. 1, there will be presale opportunities for season-ticket holders, corporate partners, PNC Park suite holders and Pirates group leaders. “Pirates Insiders” can purchase tickets starting Nov. 30.

Six-game ticket packages go on sale Friday, with any purchase before Nov. 30 being free of fees.
