The Pirates on Thursday set their opening day roster.

Those moves included adding Phillip Evans, Derek Holland and Nik Turley to the major league roster. They also recalled JT Brubaker, Jason Martin and Cole Tucker.

Gregory Polanco (COVID-19) was not listed on the opening day roster.

Also, JT Riddle was placed on the 10-day injured list (retroactive to July 20) with a right abdomen strain.

The Pirates placed Luke Maile on the 60-day injured list with a right finger fracture.
