The Penguins signed undrafted free agent forward Adam Johnson to a two-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Thursday.
Johnson, 22, participated in the team's prospect development camp last week. He played college hockey at Minnesota-Duluth and had 18 goals and 37 points in 42 games as a sophomore last season.
The deal will start this year and run through 2019.
