The Penguins will hold their annual prospect development camp from June 28 to July 1, the team announced Friday.
A full roster of prospects attending will be announced early next week, but the team confirmed forwards Daniel Sprong and Zach Aston-Reese, as well as goalie Filip Gustavsson, will be in attendance.
Sprong, 20, was the Penguins’ second-round pick in 2015. He scored 32 goals in 31 regular-season games for Charlottetown in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Aston-Reese, 22, signed with the Penguins in March as an undrafted free agent after a four-year college career at Northeastern. He was a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award this season after leading the NCAA with 31 goals and 63 points. In his 10 games after joining Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, Aston-Reese had three goals and five assists.
The Penguins drafted Gustavsson, 19, with their top pick last year, taking him in the second round. The team signed him to a three-year, entry-level contract last week.
All development camp practices will be held at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, and will be open to the public.
