Kansas City Chiefs (16-3) at Philadelphia Eagles (16-3), 6:30 p.m. – It is tough to pick against a team that controls both lines of scrimmage, has wide receivers more dangerous than its running backs and has won two playoff games by an average of 35-7. But it is equally tough to pick against Patrick Mahomes, who showed once again he is better on one leg than most other quarterbacks on two legs. The Chiefs don’t have the same quality depth at running back as the Eagles, nor do their receivers measure up to A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. They have the advantage at quarterback and tight end but little else.

Longtime Washington & Jefferson football coach Mike Sirianni in his office Monday, Feb. 6, 2022. He proudly displays mementos of both his own career and his brother Nick, now the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Brian Batko
Eagles coach Nick Sirianni is now a star, but another Sirianni has been winning big in Pa.

Prediction: Eagles, 34-31
