MIKE HULL
Canon-McMillan football
Hull was impressive in the first start of his NFL career. Hull, a rookie linebacker with the Miami Dolphins, tied for the team lead in tackles with eight and intercepted a pass this past Sunday to help the Dolphins beat the Arizona Cardinals, 26-23. Hull started in place of Kiko Alonso, who was out with an injury. Hull was signed by the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Penn State. He is a former standout player at Canon-McMillan High School.
ERIN MATHIAS

JASON NOLF
Kittanning wrestling
There isn’t a better college wrestler in the country than Nolf in the 157-pound division. At least that’s what InterMat wrestling says. The publication ranks Nolf No. 1 in the NCAA in his weight class. Nolf is a sophomore at Penn State, a graduate of Kittanning High and a three-time PIAA champion. He entered the week with an 8-0 record, including six falls. A year ago as a freshman, he made All-American and lost in the final of the NCAA tournament.
