Julijana Vojinovic scored 17 points and Amadea Szamosi recorded a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead Duquesne to a 70-51 victory against visiting VCU on senior day.
Chassidy Omogrosso added 13 points for the Dukes (14-12, 7-6 Atlantic 10).
VCU (13-13, 6-7) was held to 36.7 percent shooting for the game, with no players scoring in double-figures.
The Dukes built their largest lead of the game on an Angela Staffileno jumper — to go up by 24 — with 5:02 remaining in the first half.
An Isis Thorpe 3-pointer with 2:34 to go closed the scoring for the quarter, with Duquesne up, 41-24.
Vojinovic led Duquesne with 13 points and four rebounds in the first-half run.
Duquesne would gain another 24-point lead — 69-45 — with 1:51 to go in the game on two Judith Sole free throws. Danielle Hammond’s layup with 18 seconds remaining capped the scoring for both teams.
Duquesne embarks on its longest road trip of the season, beginning Wednesday night at Dayton.

Duke 62, Pittsburgh 48: Brandi Harvey-Carr scored 12 points and Brenna Wise added 11 and a career-high 12 rebounds for her fifth double-double of the season for Pitt (12-13, 3-9 ACC), but the Panthers lost their sixth game in a row at No. 14 Duke (22-4, 10-3). Lexie Brown scored 18 points as the Blue Devils won their fifth game in a row.
