Journey Thompson, a Peters Township grad, has decided to transfer to Syracuse for the upcoming season with two years of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-3 forward spent her first two collegiate seasons at Arizona State.

"Journey is a great get for our women's basketball family," Syracuse head coach Felisha Legette-Jack said in a news release. "Rebounds, runs and finishing through contact are a few tangibles that come to mind right away. She is a character young lady with an incredible family. We are blessed to have Journey join our Orange family. Orange Nation, please show Journey our orange love."
