Wilson, who had previously committed to Auburn, currently plays for IMG Academy in Florida

Pitt women’s basketball landed one of the top recruits in the country. Five-star recruit Nylah Wilson announced she committed to the Panthers via Instagram, making her the highest-ranked recruit in program history.

Wilson was originally committed to Auburn but decommitted on March 10. Just over a week later, she announced Pitt as her new destination, despite them not making her initial list of finalists back in November.

She previously played for Thomas Dale High School in Chester, Va., leading her team with 21.0 points per game, as well as adding 4.0 assists, 3.6 steals and 5.3 rebounds per game. Wilson helped her squad to a 24-2 record and the Virginia High School League state final.
