National Dress Your Pet Up Contest

Bring your pet in their favorite costume and join the party at Hollywood Feed Southside for National Dress Up Your Pet Day. Wind down from the week with a relaxing happy hour of Bunny Yoga with Jen's Yoga Zen. Practice your Sasangasana, or rabbit pose with the professionals — Animal Friends' very own rabbit residents.The one-hour class is $15 and starts promptly at 6 p.m. Bring your own yoga mat, water bottle and anything else you need. Animal Friends' Alley Up

Sunday, Feb. 4. noon and 3 p.m. bowling times

If you have some time to spare for shelter animals, this event is right up your alley! Join Animal Friends at their annual "Alley Up" event. You'll enjoy raffles, chance auctions and special guest, Cris Winter, who will lead the fun. Tickets range from $35 for an individual ticket to $175 for a lane and include bowling, shoes, pizza, soft drinks and a T-shirt. For more information, visit www.thinkingoutsidethecage.org.

Littlest Animal Friends

Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Rd., Ohio Township

Thursday, Feb. 8. 11-11:30 a.m.

Bring your little ones (ages 3-5), with a caregiver for an Animal Friends experience designed just for them. There will be animal-themed activities from story time to singing to artmaking all while nurturing the child's love of four-legged friends. Also included are play and exploration time in the Humane Education & Engagement Center, as well as an optional adoption-floor scavenger hunt that will acquaint children with adoptable dogs, cats and rabbits. Caregivers are permitted to bring infants in carriers who are part of the same family. RSVP is required to attend and registration ends on Feb. 7. Cost is $10 per child/adult pair.
