Our president has now put Mr. JD Vance in charge of cleansing the Smithsonian Institution of distorted narratives and improper ideology, and replacing these with objective facts and truth (“Trump executive order on Smithsonian targets funding for programs with ‘improper ideology,” Mar. 28).

Whose, we will have to wait to learn.

Mr. Vance is a dubious choice because he sometimes plays fast and loose with the truth, considering that he admitted lying about Haitians eating dogs and cats.

If this wasn’t so ridiculous it might be funny, but here we are, trying to make everyone think the same. Welcome to Trumpism.
