Biden concerns?

Biden concerns?

I would like to express my disbelief in regard to the Nov. 29 cartoon by Steve Kelley. It seems a rather pathetic, last-ditch effort to raise concerns about President-elect Joe Bidenโ€™s mental acuity. Has Mr. Kelly not been paying attention for the past few weeks? Mr. Biden has addressed the American people concerning a number of issues, none more important than the virus that is ravaging our country. His message has been thoughtful, clear, science-driven and consistent, unlike our current president, who has said nothing and done nothing, except to play golf and file baseless lawsuits.

Mr. Biden has made clear what his agenda will be moving the country forward, as far as the pandemic, the economy, immigration and climate change. He has chosen some of his Cabinet and staff appointees, giving them a chance to introduce themselves to the American people. He said early on that he would surround himself with honest, knowledgeable professionals who would give him sound, measured advice. It appears that he is doing just that.

The person I have heard in the past few weeks is not a man with diminished mental capacity, but one who knows there are enormous challenges ahead and is preparing to face them with all of the tools and expertise available to him. President-elect Joe Biden has more knowledge, common sense and compassion in his little finger than Donald Trump has in his large, ego-swollen head.
